Housing request feature makes traveler's search for short-term housing easier.

We know you have a lot of choices when you're looking for travel nurse housing. Now with the Housing Request feature from Furnished Finder, travel nurses and other business travelers looking for furnished short-term housing can fill out one quick form which sends out their housing search parameters to all the property owners in the area which you’re traveling. “This is the way that we’ve been doing it for years,” says housing coordinator Kayla Cash from OneStaff Medical. “It’s great that Furnished Finder is now offering that to our travelers,” she said. It’s designed to be the first thing you do when you’re looking for housing for your new assignment, this way you get your request out to a bunch of properties, and the ones with availability will come to you.

“The goal is to make our travelers more efficient when they search for housing,” says Brian Payne, CEO of Furnished Finder. “You can easily waste hours searching online when you’re just trying to uncover which ones do short-term and have availability. This new feature allows our travelers to save time and get real results,” he continued. Housing coordinator Cash adds, “There are a lot of sites with a lot of listings, but finding one that can accept my nurse for the entire 13 weeks is often a challenge.”

Furnished Finder has a variety of housing types like furnished apartments, private condos, back-houses, hotels, cottages, and even rooms for the budget-sensitive traveler. All the properties on Furnished Finder offer short-term (month to month or 3 month stays), and are vetted to ensure a positive experience. They even offer Hotel Discounts with participating hotels as they’ve entered into a marketing agreement with IHG Hotels, Candlewood Suites, and Holiday Inn Express hotels which all cater to the business traveler.

Furnished Finder, which started by managing the housing directly for the stipend travel nurse, knows exactly what they're looking for. Although many business travelers and travel managers use the Furnished Finder map for furnished housing, their property map was built specifically to meet the unique needs of the travel nurse staying 13 weeks at a time. Property owners and property management groups are listing their properties with Furnished Finder because the travel nurse segment is highly sought after as they tend to be a very predictable group of travelers. Payne states that “property owners want to know who’s in their unit, and travel nurses represent a very stable type of tenant year-round.” Property owners can list their property on Furnished Finder by going here.
