Property Description

This lovely fully private Mother in Law apartment is in lower portion of my home. You have your own kitchen, bathroom and entrance.

I live upstairs alone and am quiet. I have an 18 pound very quiet female hypo-allergenic dog, who is quiet, friendly and sweet.

It is 100% private 580 SF fully furnished apartment with a small bonus room, with separate entrance and no access to apartment or my living quarters from inside. Laundry room is just before apartment which is shared.
It's perfectly quiet for night shift workers who want to sleep during the day. Black out curtains are available for bedroom.

The bathroom is spacious with a shower stall. The hot water heater and gas furnace is in bathroom.
There is a full bedroom with fire escape window and a small room with window near bathroom. The kitchen living room is semi open space.

The apartment was renovated in July 2014 as I changed it from long term rental for 21 years to a vacation rental. The carpet is professionally cleaned. There is a deck and patio to share and a back yard undergoing renovation.
It is a vacation rental with Airbnb from spring to early fall.
I am within 10 minute walk to Capital Hill, steps from #2 bus line to downtown, 19 blocks to Pike Place Market and other bus lines are three blocks and a little further away.

The space is warm and dry never any leak issues and there is gas forced heat to the apartment as well as base board heaters and bathroom heater. It is super quiet. I am a lightweight and garage is on other side of apartment and it can be heard opening but it is minimal.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, crock pot, rice cooker, soup pots, glasses, plates and bowls. There is a microwave and a convestion over, as well as a newer apartment size oven. AC is available for the warmer months only. I remove it in the winter.

I have sheets, towels, pillows and blankets. You provide your own paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, body dish soap and perfume free laundry detergent.
I prefer a perfume free tenant who will use perfume free laudnry detergent and no bounce sheets.

There are motion detector lights everywhere and three keyless entry locks, one for the gate and two doors.
This is a no shoes agreement to keep the carpet clean.
The apartment is large enough for one person, maybe two. If two people are renting there are additional charges for utilties for a second person.

I am a quiet person and prefer the same, no parties, non smoking on my property and no weapons.
You may use the patio and deck, back yard, washer and dryer.
The photos are from the Airbnb site but you are not booking through Airbnb, but through me directly.

I ask for $45 for a background check per person. If your employer can vouch for you this can be waived. Please be prepared to sign a legal WA state rental lease and provide landlord and employer ( travel agency and any other) references and income proof of 2 x times rent, per person. A lease is meant to protect both tenent and landlord.
