Primrose Cottage

I stayed at K and M's beautiful cottage from January - May of 2023 and was so grateful for the arrangement. The location was perfect for me; it's an easy walk to the ocean, several grocery stores and great restaurants, and through pleasant and safe neighborhoods. The gardens around the property are well-maintained and there were flowers to greet me when I came home. The apartment is remarkably well-decorated; I got the sense that K could easily have been an interior decorator and landscaper! Additionally, the apartment is built in such a way that it is light-filled, open and airy. K and M were readily available if I needed anything, but respected my privacy as well. For one person, the cottage is ideal. Two people can also make it work, depending on how they use the space. I recommend this property (and K and M) with enthusiasm and no reservations.

I stayed at this bright, airy, and very comfortable beach cottage for 3 months. I really enjoyed the location. Walking distance to beach, Boardwalk, and shopping. Karen and Mark are very friendly and helpful with tons of great advice on things to do. I would definitely come and stay here again!

Karen and Mark were friendly hosts, and their place is cozy and well-situated. They kindly let me use their bike and gave tips on the area. I particularly oved the patio and garden in the back. I really enjoyed my three months in Santa Cruz, and this cottage was a big reason why!

Perfect home for any travel nurse or any solo worker. Close to all things like groceries and restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Karen takes wonderful care of her beautiful garden. It has been a pleasure living here. Wish all places were as wonderfully well kept as this.

I lived at this beautiful condo for three months and could not have asked for a better experience. The place is so well designed that it seems much bigger than its actual square footage. Karen and mark are great hosts who value your privacy and comfort. The French doors that lead to your own private back porch and beautiful gardening make this place even greater. The location is also awesome! I walked most places when I lived here! You are very close to some great beaches, the boardwalk, bars, and food!! Highly recommend!!!

I stayed at Karen and Mark's one bedroom apartment for 3 months and must say it has been one of my favorite places I've lived. The place is well decorated/designed for comfort and privacy. The space gets so much natural light, but never gets too hot. The patio is a great place to relax; Karen's landscaping really makes it feel like home. The kitchen has all new appliances and everything you need to just move in and start cooking. The place was generously stocked with toiletries and linens. Much more than the apartment itself, Karen and Mark were fantastic hosts and I hope to keep in touch!
