I stayed here while working at Novant. I really enjoyed my time here, and the owner is very responsive to tennant needs. Also very respectful of tennant privacy. If I'm back in Winston for a future contract, I hope to stay here again.
C was an amazing host. She's a very considerate and kind person. If you want someone to chat with, she'll def chat, but if you want to mind your own business she's totally cool with that too. My experience here was phenomenal. The private unit itself is like your own living space. You def get more than what you paid for. It is downstairs but you get a bedroom, 1.5 bath, and a living room all to yourself with a fireplace including an outside patio furnished with a comfortable chair and small stand. The fireplace was awesome! I got to use it few times when it got cold; smoked up the house accidentally once and C didn't even get upset. I highly recommend C's place and would def rent here again if I am in the area.
I enjoyed my stay here during my first travel contract! C is always accommodating and asks how your space can be improved. Great location in proximity to hospitals with a public park close by for leisure. An awesome living situation for my first contract away from home. Thankful for C's hospitality and our conversations in the kitchen!
Carla was a great house mate. I had the bottom floor to myself (bedroom, sitting area, and porch). Easy access to the lower floor through a side door. My privacy was respected, and I was always thankful for a good chat and laugh with Carla! I felt at home instantly. Great location with shops nearby, and nice neighborhood.
I throughly enjoyed my time here! Carla is an excellent hostess, giving you your space or if you want to sit and visit with her. I did like having my own entrance, the den and backyard really made me feel that I had my own space. Nice quiet neighborhood but shopping, eating, etc very easy to get to and close by. I loved Henry the dog and Tilley the cat! I will definitely stay there again when in the area
