This is Bedroom #1. It is spacious! It has a terrifically comfortable double bed with a mattress topper, which makes bed-making a breeze. It has a full-size desk and a fold-out table that can be used for the artist/craftsman or a person studying/writing papers, or a place to line up books, or fold laundry.
The Smart TV is on an adjustable wall-mount above the clothes dresser....You can angle the TV to watch a movie in bed or turn it to watch football game from a chair. Below the In the closet are a large number of hangers and a laundry basket. The large, deep cupboards above the closet will hold a lot of things you might want to store.
There are two sets of double closets in Bedroom #1, with a lot of storage space in the deep cupboards above each set of closets.
The art-work in the room changes from time-to-time. Here, a colorful painting adds a special spark to the room.
We want you to be safe and secure should you happen to work nights! The resident parking area is on our private property, has room for all cars in the household, and, is mere steps from the front door. This area is under motion-activated security lighting and there are four (outdoor) security cameras monitoring the property 24 hours a day.
The living room is one of the important Common Area spaces in this house, as a place to relax alone or to join with other Travel Nurses for some serious socializing.
A puzzle table is sometimes put out in the living room. One Travel Nurse became famous for putting together every puzzle in the house (there are lots!) except two during his three month hospital contract!
Here is a corner of the Living Room & a glimpse of the front door. There is a digital key pad entry-locking system on the door. Each Travel Nurse receives a unique code to enter the house. Codes change when Travel Nurses leave for their next destination. Each tenant receives a key to the lock of their private bedroom.
Sink in and relax in the living room! No worries: the live-in housekeeper keeps the Common Areas clean! You just put away your personal items...or things you've taken out to use.
The Living room & Dining room flow into one another, which gives the large area a spacious, mellow feeling.
It's not uncommon for Travel Nurses to work on a puzzle together at the dining room table. Beyond is a view into the kitchen and the living room.
The dining room is spacious & its table seats 6. Many puzzles, books, and a growing stash of games are housed on shelves nearby.
A great space to share a coffee break or take out meal!

Here you see the kitchen refrigerator, the microwave, the condiments we provide, the full-size stove & oven. Hidden from view in the lower cupboards are a toaster, a toaster-oven, pots & pans, dishware, silverware & other implements for your use. Household members clean up after themselves, leaving counters and sink clear & clean for the next person who will want to use them.
Meal time--Choose the kitchen or the dining room. A pocket door between rooms offers privacy when desired. Coffee & tea are provided. There is a dish drainer for a single dish or a big pan you've washed...and, there is a dishwasher for a more serious cooking session.
Peek inside. Everyone gets a set of shelves like these in one of the kitchen cupboards. There is drawer space for each person tool The rest of the cupboards and drawers contain items used by all in the household.
We provide all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots & pans, coffee makers, tea-kettle, cooking implements, dishwasher soap, and much more....for all to share.
The washer and dryer are through this door, just at the end of the kitchen. Across from them is the second refrigerator.

Beside the refrigerator is a shelving unit holding two bins: one is for recyclables, the other for glass. The trash container is in the kitchen. The housekeeper delivers each of the bins & the trash container to the curb on pick up day.
The washer and dryer are for all to use. Above are some of the items provided, such as laundry soap and dryer sheets, trash bags, cleaning supplies. It is important to not leave laundry in the washer or dryer when your load is finished: others need to use the washer and dryer, too.
Now we are in the bathroom. There is a wall of storage cupboards plus many drawers under the counter below the two sinks. You will have a large amount of designated space in the bathroom for your own cosmetics, shampoos, and misc. gear. Hand soap at the sink, the First Aid kit, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, a hair dryer on the counter are provided by us for all to use. There is a basket of things you may have forgotten, or don't have when you first arrive. Hopefully, this is handy for you, until you have time to shop.
Towels and washcloths are kept on hooks in each bedroom. In the bathroom, each person has a place for their own hand towel.
One end of the tub has a hand-held spray shower head. Ooops! Someone forgot to put away their mesh sponge.
One end of the bathtub has a standard shower head and multiple grab bars on the wall.

I am a travel nurse and staying here for the next 3 months. Frances is kind, friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in her second home. The room is fantastic and has adequate closet space and drawer space. It stays warm when it is cold. The private bathroom is wonderful. Her home is closeby to Lutheran university and will get you downtown in about 10-15 minutes by car. Frances and Elli get my highest recommendation.
