We had to cancel our booking because of a contract mishap with our travel agency. In emails the property manager said she would give half of our deposit back. Its been months and she has stopped responding to our emails. Seems like a scammer. Be aware.

This is unfortunate that this tenant chose to try and communicate here. He booked the place and canceled well after the refund date, which was all outlined in the lease he signed. It was only the deposit he is speaking of here, not the entire rent. Attempting to be understanding, I offered him a 50% refund on his deposit, even though this is not the policy. He agreed, and then never followed up on how he would like that deposit sent. I never received any additional emails, and would have still refunded him if he had chosen to actually reach out to me. He instead chose to leave a bad review as way of communication.
