Wonderful Place to stay!

We had a wonderful experience renting this house in Anchorage, Alaska, for six or so months. The location was perfectconveniently situated with easy access to everything we needed, from outdoor trails to local shops and dining. The neighborhood was fantastic, offering a safe, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Jayson, our landlord, was exceptional. He was responsive, approachable, and genuinely cared about our comfort, making the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was well-maintained, cozy, and perfect for our needs. A Gem!! Safe & Peaceful Escape

Being a single female and first time traveler, I was concerned about safety for myself and vehicle while living in Anchorage until I discovered this rental! The westside of Government Hill, where this home is located, is a completely opposite world from the vehicle and foot traffic of Downtown and Midtown. It is so safe, quiet, and such a peaceful, restful escape!! With the added perk of the occasional hum of aircraft engines as they depart/return to Lake Hood or Merrill Field. The 2 parks in walking distance have beautiful bluff views. Neighbors are mainly older and super friendly. Commuting is easy because of quick access to the highways. The place is cozy and as pictured, except some wall decor and the cowhide rug were changed. It is stocked with everything you could ever need and has lots of storage. J is a fabulous landlord...trustworthy, not in your business, and prompt to respond whether a problem or if you're just in need of his Anchorage knowledge. In short, it's a gem!
