I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and his wife who were extremely kind and welcoming. I recommend this place to anyone who may be looking for somewhere to stay in Hilo. It is the perfect location and has an amazing view. Plus has amazing landlords!

Travel RN. Rented this unit for five months. Description is accurate; balcony is large with absolutely amazing views. Watching the sunrise in the am, moon over the water at night and various cruise ships dock in the bay was incredible. Unit was perfect size and equipped with all the things I required for a comfortable stay. Close to downtown; short walk to restaurants, shops and farmer's market. Great location if working at the hospital. Landlord was easy to communicate with and building manager on site and very helpful. Quiet building, tenants very friendly. If I return to Hilo, I would stay here again.

I rented this unit in Hilo, HI from an add placed by M S. When we arrived at the unit, it was filthy, there was open food containers in the refrigerator, floors, kitchen and bathroom were dirty. It was apparent the unit had not been cleaned prior to us moving in. The bathroom tile was loose and later found out that the bathroom cabinet was supposed to be replaced. This should have been disclosed prior to moving in. Honestly, the walls need painting, the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen need to be redone or replaced as well as the flooring in the bathroom. There was a small desk, but no chair, no toaster and the dishes, glasses and kitchen utensils were just thrown in the drawers with no thought. The unit has large windows in Bedroom and Dining no window coverings and the the suns blasts through the unit early AM I advised him of the condition of the place and he did have a cleaning person come to clean. Just be aware before renting this unit of the condition and integrity.
