Reviews
I moved to San Diego for a masters program, and wanted a private studio (this is more like 1 bedroom) in a great location. I got all of that, plus way more living here. Here are the reasons why I believe its the best setup in San Diego: (1) The landlords/owners are the loveliest people in San Diego. They are so welcoming, kind, and thoughtful about the entire living setup. The space is setup for privacy, and they are there if you want them there, and also give you all the space you could want. I cant say enough amazing things about them. (2) The unit is more like a 1-bedroom than a studio. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here. (3) The kitchen setup is great, there is an electric stovetop that works for anything youd like to cook on the stove, and a toaster oven. Its basically a full kitchen. (4) There is ample space, and all furniture, appliances, bedding, and everything else you could possibly need is there. I would live here forever if I could!
I stayed at El Mirador from Feb-May 2022 and absolutely loved it! Not only are the property owners wonderful people, but the unit itself has been so thoughtfully designed, decorated, and outfitted that it most definitely felt like home. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance I needed and everything was functional. The bedroom has plenty of closet and drawer space to store clothing, books, and bedside necessities. And, the location of the property is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, groceries, and parks, not to mention a beautiful neighborhood for walking and exploring. Also, the home is about a 10-minute drive to downtown, La Jolla, and all of the nearby beaches, so you can't beat that! Overall, my experience here was simply spectacular and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
El Mirador is an adorable property... You feel like you are in a little Spanish casita with palm trees. Your balcony is perfect for a morning cup of coffee and for watching the Sea World fireworks at night! The studio is very comfortable with everything you could need. We opened up all of the doors in windows in the place daily for a wonderful fresh cross breeze. Parking is ample and very safe. M and A are the BEST! They were a quick text away when ever we needed anything! Last but not least, you cannot beat this location. Walking distance to Liberty Station and the harbor, only 10 minutes to Little Italy, downtown and Hillcrest! Seriously stay here it's worth it!

I love Point Loma because of its proximity to everything. I am a docent in training for the Timken Museum in Balboa Park. I take long walks to harbor Island or Seaport Village. I love playing tennis at our various tennis courts and when the weather warms up, you’ll catch me kayaking or SUPing in the channel. I’m also very involved with our church, Captivate Church, two blocks from home. It’s an amazing community.
