Stayed here for 3 mon for my 1st travel assignment & it was my 1st time using furnished finder. 1st off its a basement, not an apt, which I failed to realize from the pics & vid they sent. Its spacious, it has a W/D & kitchen so its very livable. My first problem was not being able to control the AC & for 1400/mon that wasnt going to fly, but they gave me access eventually. Then theirs the noise. I heard when guests came over & their conversations, I heard them singing, babies crying, dogs barking & rattling their cages, I heard it all. If you mention the noise they would try their best to stop it but its awkward to request. If you work day shift, you might not come by it cause by night time, the house was very quiet. Another issue were the bugs. I saw spiders, centipedes, ants, and pill bugs. Even after they bombed the place for me, they still appeared. I guess thats staying in a basement for ya. Overall the place isnt worth $1400 IMO, but its livable & better than shared space.

The perfect complainer. First and foremost our place IS NOT a basement. Basements are underground and this place is not. I explained that to you before you even executed a lease. Secondly, we went above and beyond for every little complaint that you had. From the temperature in the house being set at 65 degrees to you having the audacity to ask us to come down and kill a spider because you were scared. EVERY SMALL ISSUE you had, we addressed. We sprayed the 2 times you complained about the ants and the one spider. You never mentioned any other bugs,. The noise only happened on weekends when our grandkids were there during day hours. Again you were aware that we lived upstairs. Overall, our experience wasn't the best either and we chalked it up as you being new, nave and wanted a perfect place. That's not going to happen in this industry. Our place is nice, super clean and we accommodate our nurses. I hope your future housing is PERFECT for you.

The place was enough for one person and clean. It was perfect driving distance to the hospital. The owners were friendly and easy to get a hold of should any issues arise. I had several issues with the batteries to the door not working so it wouldnt lock from the outside when you would go to leave for the day. They had fixed it several times while I was there though and were very helpful. Initially when I first moved in, I received several texts over the first couple weeks asking where I was at and when I would be back if my car wasnt in their driveway. Im a travel nurse working 12s and would travel between the city and central Illinois on days off to see my husband. While I appreciated the look out, that may be bothersome to others if they stay for a longer stay like I did. Their home alarm needs to be disabled for the garage door, as this is your entrance into the home. So, the alarm did go off a few times during my stay. My only complaint really is my deposit check was never cashed but thrown away during spring cleaning. We still got our deposit back because October rent was never cashed. However, we had to put a stop hold on the check that was lost because its floating around the city somewhere. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but for personal preferences I would likely look for something more private next time.

STAY 8/6-1031 Thanks for your review. The several text was the mother in me worrying that you were gone for days and hours and we wanted to make sure you were safe. Once you stated you go home for days on ends we understood. Mechanical issues will arise and were handled very quickly. The alarm was mostly put on for our teenage daughter. As you were gone for stretches of time (your prerogative) the alarm was armed without bypassing the garage entry. As far as the check goes, I am more than happy to reimburse you the stop pay fee as I was never told that you were going to do that. A floating check can't be cashed without the proper identification. Please reach out if you want the stop payment fee. Thanks for staying with us and good luck with the baby!!!!

The home was amazing, enough space, comfortable. Felt just like a home away from home. Separate entrance is great for privacy. All the amenities made the stay comfortable. Access to washer and dryer, cable, fridge, hot water never runs out. Very convenient, comfortable, and cozy. Will definitely book again.

The owners were extremely nice and helpful. The apartment is warm and inviting. A home away from home feeling you dont feel at a hotel. Most importantly was immaculate! The bed was super comfortable. Having so many amenities like a stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer, and dryer was very convenient. The owners even thought of the little things like coffee and scented lotions. I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend this property.

Quick trip to the area hospital and very near to park and local restaurants. Owners are always available to answer questions or assist with anything. Washer and dryer very convenient for my long stay. Will stay again!
