Roadrunner Retreat

This property is outstanding, Laurel cares about her properties, and tenants. I (we) rented this house for a year, the layout is ideal, very roomy, while only a one bedroom. Came furnished with everything you can think of, comfortable bed, foldout couch in the living for guests, Smart TV, high speed internet. Location is excellent, easy walking to one of the parks in town, within a few miles of the North entrance to the National Park, views from the large back yard are gorgeous, the sunrises and sunsets every day are amazing. New washer/dryer conveniently located in the two car garage...which is perfect to get your vehicle out of the desert heat. All the way around this property is well maintained by owners who care, and who want their tenants to feel like it is home. Margie & Eddie

Perfect. This place is perfect. WiFi works great. Never had an issue in the 6 weeks. Washer dryer are brand new and awesome. AC works perfectly. The kitchen has every single thing you could want. Super close to the park entrance. I mean really could not be better. Laurel herself is a fantastic 10/10 host. She had the perfect amount of checking in to make sure I arrived and had everything I needed without at all feeling like she was intruding on my space or bothering me. The one time I asked for one kitchen item (actually asked if she had it, assuming I would just go buy one if not), she immediately went and bought several and left them by the house. Initially I had the lease for 30 days, and when I asked to extend it was no problem and she immediately took care of it. She was also very kind in letting me check out the morning after my move in date, which I greatly appreciated. If you've found this listing, trust me, just BOOK IT!

Beautiful place, in a quiet location close to Joshua Tree national park. I actually think 29 Palms is the best place to stay for visiting the park, as the North entrance is much less busy and equally close to the main attractions. The house was really well equipped, with a comfy bed, washer, dryer, TV, internet and a great kitchen. It really felt like home. With an excellent view of the hills, the back patio is a great place to sit out and watch the sunset. The owner, Laurel, is really accommodating and you can tell she puts a lot of thought into ensuring her guests stay is as good as possible. When she heard I would be working from home she even provided a desk and chair for me to work from.
