Blyss Luxury Medical Housing - Room Style 3

Both of the landlords are so sweet and welcoming. The apartment is really nice and I particularly enjoyed the gym. In fact, I actually ended up extending my stay for an additional 3 months because I like it so much. So if you find yourself in Elizabeth or Newark in need of a place to stay, this property is your best bet.

I stayed at this property for over 6 months now while on contract at Newark Beth Israel. This is literally the best property I lived in during my assignments. The property owners are very cordial and welcoming. Driving distance from everything!

A true home away from home. Full of up-to-date amenities to make your stay very comfortable, quiet and very homely. I look forward to returning to the Blyss when next I have a job in Newark.

I have been a travel nurse for quite some time and have traveled all over the country. I always rent a room in someone's home because it is convenient, amenities are included and therefore cost efficient but I give up some privacy. No so at this home! It's really an apartment home that is spacious, beautifully appointed and filled with state-of the-art appliances. In this situation I had the freedom of apt living but the benefit of house sharing. My housemates were wonderful. The homeowners were (are) busy professionals but managed to be lovely, sympathetic and responsive. They were able to strike a balance between privacy and landlord/homeowners (which is delicate). It's a new build in a gentrifying neighborhood, convenient to downtown, the airport and the major highways, important if you like taking trips. I would certainly stay at this home again and hope to do so in the future.

I loved staying at this house! The accomodations were above and beyond. The room is comfortable with nice mattress. TV great. Kitchen area has lots of appliances for my meal prep. Shared fridge but never crowded. Shared laundry upstairs but I never had to wait for a washer/dryer once in my 5 months there. Parking can be tricky at times, just pay attention to the parking signs and you'll be fine. The owners are very accommodating as well. They always answered/addressed my questions and concerns. S went above and beyond to search ring camera for missed packages on several occasions. Even when my contract was cancelled, they were willing to work with me to discuss options. I would definitely stay here again!

It couldnt have been any easier! The landlords made it so easy to check-in. I had one minor issue and it was resolved immediately! There is a nice gym on the property and all the amenities are top notch! I wish my contract wasnt ending!!

I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a comfortable space in this NJ area. I felt safe here which was important to me. The two hosts were both pleasant, easy to reach and accommodating as well!

Ill try to make my review short and sweet beginning with the fact that I loved the space from the moment I walked in. I loved that I had my own bathroom and my room was just comfortable with the cute lights options. I also loved how modern & tech savvy the place is, floor plan was well thought-out. S is so sweet and pleasant. Any concerns or questions I had, A/S were both able to attend to and solve. As far as parking, I never had any issues so if you read the signs and follow them, you should be fine. I also loved all my roommates, everyone was so easy to get along with. Overall, If youre looking to refresh and wind down after a long work day, its a place I would recommendLB

Dont expect your security deposit back unless you give a 5 star review. Worst living situation Ive ever had. Landlords are aggressive control freaks and extremely creepy with no concept of privacy/personal space. I dont want anyone to have to go through what I did. There are 6 cameras inside that record audio and video (landlord admitted this), which is illegal in NJ and federally. Some point towards bathroom door, hot tub and sink. They get notified on their phone of any movement to watch live. AC is controlled remotely - above 75F in summer and below 66F in winter. It was a big surprise to find out that Landlord lives on property and shares common spaces. Grill and hot tub do not work. Internet is 10mb/s in bedrooms. Landlord had FF delete multiple one star reviews to increase their ratings. Find a better place that is safe.

Since my previous review was mysteriously deleted and two sparkling reviews replaced it saying the exact opposite of what I said, its confirmed this place is sketchy. Owner is abrasive and controlling. Items of mine went missing from the common area. My car was towed from the front of the house when I got stuck out of state with COVID and the police informed me that the owner of the house called it in(several times). Nothing works in this house. Power went out 3-4 times a week. Wifi was dodgy. Very thin walls and loud doors. Had a non healthcare tenant who didnt understand quiet hours on weekends and late nights. Cameras in common areas illegally record audio. Cleanings were not done. Owner turns off AC during the day and then sets at 73hot. There was no notice that linens were not provided(I arrived late at night and no stores were open). I didnt speak to one tenant who was happy at this place. My only two positives: S was wonderful and the nespresso machine was appreciated.

Im a regional dir. nurse & had my share of stays in travel housing, A and S's property being one of them. Cleanliness was the most important factor to me, especially in a shared space. The decor is out of a magazine. There isnt a property that even comes close to theirs within 100 miles! They pay such attention to detail that its kind of mind blowing. Only people like that can respect it like I do. If you are the opposite this probably isnt for you. Its for the clean conscious only. The house keeping was phenomenal, at least every 2 weeks. I saved money & found myself working out more due to the on-site gym. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Its like a resort here. The ease of parking fluctuates but never took me more than 3 minutes, many times it was immediate. It gave me priceless piece of mind knowing that the landlords were always nearby, if needed. Note, they are straight business and adhere to their ad, but are undoubtedly standup people. Dont hesitate

This place is a luxury to stay in. The landlords themselves have been amazing hosts. Always asking if I need anything and are always very responsive. When I first moved in, I left my wallet at an establishment and the landlord went to grab my wallet for me before they closed at midnight knowing that the place wouldn't be open the next day and that I was sleeping after my long drive. If you are a clean/tech person- this is the property for you, everything is clean and easy to use. And the mattress is divine to sleep on (which as a travel nurse is really rare to find). Its nice to live with other medical professionals as well since we have things in common. They have people that come and clean twice a month. Everything is new and well cared for- not sure what the review under me is talking about. They never move my things (if anything they help run the dishwasher, which I greatly appreciate). The lights are totally adjustable, as are the blinds. They will work with you, just ask. :D

Master bedroom/WIC is HUGE and bathroom definitely doesnt disappoint! Landlords are super helpful and accommodating. Each room has its own lock/code and everything is keyless within the property (huge added bonus). Parking can be a bit tricky occasionally but the home definitely makes up for it! S and A are so sweet and very quick to make sure all needs/wants are met during your stay

Positives- The house is very clean and S is so sweet. Negatives- A is very nice in person but can be aggressive through text. He wants his money NOW. And once you give him money, you're not getting it back so be sure it's a good assignment. My roommate wanted to leave 3 days into her contract bc she felt it was unsafe (I felt the same way about my contract), he offered the deposit back and that's it. Mind you, we paid 3 months upfront. I had to text multiple times to get my deposit back. There are cameras in the common areas and there were numerous instances where they were clearly listening to our convos. The medium and small rooms are HOT! with no ceiling fans. The thermostat is wirelessly controlled by the owners so make sure you're comfortable with 73 degrees and above. If the house is full, you will be sharing the W/D with at least 5 other adults. This was a problem for me at times. The house is safe but not in a safe area. Def nervous walking to and from my car.

I have been enjoying my stay here in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I don't have any complaints on this property. I found it to be a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment for healthcare workers. The owners have put in a lot of work to make sure we have everything we needed. I especially enjoy the option of a gym/room, basketball court, and hot tub. If we needed anything the owners are very attentive. I highly recommend staying here if contracted in the area!

I honestly don't have any complaints. You can easily see that there has been a lot of thought and effort put into providing a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment for healthcare workers. This space is beautifully decorated and equipped many modern features. Making downtime between shifts enjoyable. It truly feels like home away from home. The property managers are welcoming and very helpful. They are a quick text message away to answer any questions or concerns. I highly recommend staying here if contracted in the area!
