Overlooking Honolii Surfing Beach,Large Oceanfront Suite, 10 minute drive to Hospital

This is the BEST rental of all Hilo compared to what my co-workers were renting. For about the same price if not less, this private studio is nice and clean and I felt safe! The view from the large lanai/backyard is just so breathtaking and peaceful! Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Thank you for everything, I can't imagine a better place to do my self healing.

Pros: Amazing view! Cons: before I signed the lease, the landlord raised the rent from the listed posting of $1600 to $1934.35. That should have been the first red flag. Extra $80/ month to use the washer and dryer on site. also charges extra $ to use air conditioning . make sure you read the lease! I did not receive any of my deposit back after cleaning the unit. She gave me a detailed list of things to clean. Including changing the sheets, mattress protector, and shower curtain. She basically wants you to do all of the things to get it ready for the next tenant so she does not have to do it or pay someone professionally. Of course, I would never leave it a mess but her expectation was a little much. The only cleaning supplies she had was half a bottle of Windex and some washcloth's. Be prepared to buy your own cleaning supplies AND starting supplies. She doesn't replace anything that the prior tenants have used.
