Great house, great host, great location (walking distance to hospital). Can't recommend enough.

B is a fantastic host, and her home is in a great location, especially for anyone working at any of the hospitals in the Matthews area (Atrium Health Union/Union West). The house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, and the rent is very affordable for the area. The closest hospital (Union West) is right around the corner, about a ~10 minute walk (or ~5 minute bike ride) down the road. The house itself was always clean and neat but still managed to feel personal and welcoming. B was extremely kind and an absolutely great host during my stay; she always seemed to strike a good balance between being social and inviting me out to do things while also providing privacy and quiet time when needed (especially when I worked night shift). Overall, just an awesome place to stay for a few months while I was traveling for work. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful Stay

This is an amazing place to stay away from home. The home is very clean and in a great neighborhood. B is a wonderful host and always made sure my stay was going smoothly. I loved staying with her. She provided such a safe space for me while I was completing a travel contract. Absolutely incredible host! Would recommend to anyone!

Great and safe property

I stayed here for about 4 months. It is a safe, quiet location in a smaller town south of Charlotte. Host was very welcoming and inviting. Great communication and very helpful when needed. This is my first time renting a room while traveling and Im very glad I did at this location. She is a sweetheart and will do whatever she can to make you feel welcome and comfortable! She even allowed my cat to stay there and they bonded very well.

Very Nice Property; Highly Recommended

This was my first time renting a room from an individual, and I was naturally a bit nervous, but B has been very friendly and generous from our first meeting, always making me feel welcome. The house itself is very comfortable and quiet which, with me being a day sleeper, is of paramount importance. The house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, yet is only a couple of minutes from the interstate, making for easy travel to work. If I were going to be staying in this area longer, I would definitely continue to stay here. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and Convenient

B's home is very confortable. I stayed in the bigger of the two rooms so there was plenty of space. I had access to a bathroom and all the shared spaces, including laundry. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. B made me feel very welcome, especially travelling with a pet. It is in a great location as well. Takes just a couple minutes to get onto the highway and only a 20 minute drive to downtown Charlotte. She is a great host/roommate. I would give 10 stars if I could!
