CLEARWATERS EASY ACCESS COMMUTE

To any potential renters, We stayed here for just over three months (read until the end for unreasonable deposit fees). We arrived to find 4 full outside trash cans, old rusty paint cans in the back yard, and an extremely filthy indoor AC air handler. I disposed of all the trash and a cleaner partially cleaned the air handler. I spent another hour cleaning the air handler closet. Several rats were later located in the garage and one made its way into the house. In the end, A (landlord) kept $1350 of the $1500 despot. We were charged for the rat extermination fees. We were charged for two Amazon fire TV sticks (we logged out of our accounts and she couldnt figure out how to get hers back logged in). We were also charged for a trash fee (left the garage can by the curb to be picked up by the city garbage as we always did), new sheets, pillow cases, plate sets, and a list of totally unreasonable fees. I respectfully requested to have a short phone conversation just to hear her explain these fees but she refused. I literally just wanted to hear about how we damaged anything, I have absolutely no issue paying for property we actually damaged. This is a rental / landlord in it for the money, in it to keep your deposit, and will totally ignore your calls / texts if you have any questions about your deposit. The good: close to beach / shops. House had been remodeled some. The bad: A (the landlord) will do the bare minimum for any repairs / pest control / cleaning. She will likely keep most of your deposit as she did with us. A is not a good landlord, not a reasonable person, and I hope she changes.

Such a prime location and set up. Minutes from the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and gyms. I travel often for work often and needed a place for 6 weeks. "A" was super accommodating and made the whole process effortless. I had everything I needed, clean sheets, towels, coffee maker, perfect kitchen set up, a place to work, relax, and eat. I didn't have any issues with the home itself, and when I did have a question about check in/check out "A" was able to get back to me quickly. The stay was enjoyable and easy, and the house was clean/organized and comfortable. I'll definitely be visiting this listing every time I'm in Clearwater. Thank you A!

I stayed in Clearwater for three months during an assignment at Mease Countryside. A was a fantastic landlord and host. The home is very cozy and very comfortable. I enjoyed the modern design. A and I had continued contact throughout my stay. There were no major issues but she was quick to respond if I had a question and she checked in on me to be sure everything was as expected. I would definitely stay in A's property again.
