Studio with a Mt. Hood View

I had the opportunity to stay on the property for the fall and early winter of 2022 after returning to the area for work. A and T are exceptional hosts. They are courteous, honest and very respectful of privacy. They put heart in their craft of building their home and it shows. It's charming and very comfortable. No city noise. Only that of wind and the occasional coyotes in the distance. Waking up to the sun rising over Mount Hood on slow weekend mornings was delightful. Near the end of my stay we got a few days of snow. A great location if you want to use it as base camp for ski days. And it's not far from all the trails and rivers in the foothills to the east if you want to hike or camp. It's a good country pace where their dog Ryker runs happily over the acreage. I'd stay again without a doubt.

I enjoyed this property and the owners are fabulous. The apartment is in the basement of their house and it has everything you need, even for an extended stay. All the appliances are new and in great working order. Even though it's a basement apartment, it has plenty of windows and can be very light and bright if you want some sunshine. The bed is comfortable and they have plenty of storage space for an extended stay. Their dog Ryker is very sweet and fun to play fetch with. You will enjoy this private, acreage property as it is only a few miles from downtown Sandy and a few miles from Dodge Park if you like hiking/fishing the Sandy river.
