Ravenhaus Backyard Cottage

I loved staying at this property for many reasons, but here are my top few reasons. (1`) The house. Spacious, quiet, and cozy, nestled in a patch of greenery and trees. I slept like a baby (maybe those ultra-comfortable sheets helped). (2) The location. While you'll feel like you're having a vacation out in the boonies, both I-5 and I-405, as well as Southcenter Mall, are just literally minutes away. (3) The host. Liz lives next door, and is ready to help if you need it, but also respects your privacy. I hope I can stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay, from the curated and relaxing decor, patio and landscape, to the short drive into the city. The cottage is 10min from the beach, downtown, and anything else you may need. Having AC in the summer was a plus as well! The property is exactly like the photos, with a responsive and kind host. Would recommend staying any time.

The property is exactly the same as the photos and description depicts. This is a quiet little cabin in south seattle, 10mins from the airport, 15mins to downtown Seattle and 30mins from downtown tacoma (all depending on traffic). The owner is responsive, kind, and has lots of recommendations for hikes, beaches, and restaurants nearby.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Amazing stay, amazing hosts who are very sweet and available, great drive and view of the city but nice calm neighborhood. More space and storage than appears! Very worth the price and time. Also AC and bed are great!!! Will be coming back and recommending to everyone.

I've stayed at Ravenhaus many times and really do love it there. It is very tastefully/arfully decorated, yet cozy & comfortable. Is it weird to say I feel kind of special when I stay there? Sort of like that chic place I've never managed to create for myself in my own home. I found it very quiet and don't remember hearing any air traffic while there but suppose it could be so. It feels very private & peaceful with a good amount of outdoor space that is inviting to sit in to read or relax. The landscaping & patio are surrounded by plants, trees, & flowers. The bathroom is spa-like, the bed comfortable and the kitchen really cute and functioning.As the owner of an Airbnb, I told my clients that they would only see me if they chose to, that their entrance was separate, etc. This is a place that feels the same and while there is a family in another part of the property, they are not overhead, nor do you need to see/interact with them unless you wish as you come & go on your gate and path.
