Cedar Street Studio

This little place has my heart forever! If I could live there forever I would. 4 minute drive to work at the hospital. 4 min. drive to town. 1 minute drive to Jacksons Beach/Griffin Bay. 10 min. walk to town and beach. Best location. The owners are so incredible. They are always willing to help out and figure out any problems or hiccups that arise. I worked the night shift at the hospital and the shades can pull down around the windows. Usually wasn't a problem but if sensitive I recommend a little sleeping mask. The house attached is an airbnb and for the most part isn't an issue. In the summer when it's busy the parking from the airbnb guests could be problematic but the owners were so helpful with those issues and support you 100%. The little bench window seat is the sweetest! I spent so many winter days there reading. The owners were able to place a laundry/dryer in the place which was amazing so that laundry wasn't an issue. My only recommendation is that the dryer can only dry tiny loads. It usually needs 2 sometimes 3 dry cycles to fully dry things. But other than that it worked great. It was so hard to leave the little carriage house. Cannot say enough how cute its design is and how wonderful the location is! Not to mention the owners are genuinely looking out for you and are so generous with any needs/concerns. I hope to return one day and rent it again. (:

Great location for exploring the area and a short commute if working at the hospital. The homeowners are very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The studio is comfortable and supplied with many amenities to make you feel at home.
