Carriage House Apartment

Literally amazing. Pam and Pete are the SWEETEST people around and always made sure that I was comfortable and everything was in working order. They made me feel right at home by checking in on me (first time living away from home) but never checking in so much that I felt like I was being watched. The area they live on is extremely nice with the type of neighbors who wave to you when you drive by. Any issue I had, Pete would come by asap to help me out and even taught me how to unclog a garbage disposal. The bed is INCREDIBLY soft and the kitchen and bathroom are super nice. PLUS a garage spot, which was amazing for the winter time. Basically, they set an extremely high bar and it will be super hard for anyone else to beat them. I cannot recommend them or this place enough. 100000000/10

Couldn't recommend enough! A quiet, safe, beautiful area with everything you need for a home away from home. P & P are the BEST hosts, always checking in and making sure everything is up to standard. Would absolutely stay again if I'm ever back in town.

This apartment was exactly what I was looking for in a place to live when I took a nursing contract in Winchester, VA! As a night shift nurse, I was looking for a space detached from other people as I did not want to be a disturbance when I was cooking or doing laundry at 3 am. The apartment is over a 3- car garage, with a spacious living room & kitchen, has a large bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and the multiple sets towels/washcloths and an extra set of sheets made laundry days very convenient. There is a large desk area I particularly enjoyed as it was perfect for me to set-up my PC. P & P were very accommodating hosts. Prior to move-in they installed curtain rods for my black out curtains and set-up a fire stick for the tv. They were responsive when I had questions, and communicated to work with my sleep schedule when filters or maintenance needed to be done. Thanks P & P for everything. I would rent from y'all again in a heartbeat!

This is a great apartment that could be in a 'House Beautiful' magazine! It's spacious, well-decorated, comfortable and in a lovely country setting. The large open-plan main room has everything you could want - large TV, comfy couch and chairs (with afghans), a convenient desk/work area, dining table and sliding doors to a deck (perfect for morning coffee, meals and general relaxing). The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom is spa-like. The bedroom is large with a big closet and very comfortable bed. And it's in a beautiful area with lovely views of pastures. P and P are great hosts. This truly is the perfect home away from home!
