I have a special place in my heart for nurses. My husband was a nurse and I know how hard you all work. It's my hope to provide you with a quiet, relaxing place to rest and provide that cozy and homey atmosphere for you while you serve patients in my area.
So far my tenants have loved the private entrance, it's quiet in this neighborhood and the convenience to stores and restaurants. Don't forget, utilities are included!!
During your stay, you will have use of my entire finished basement. The only thing we share is the washer and dryer. I use that when you are at work. You have your own private entrance.
My home is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is 1.9 miles away from UPMC Altoona and one street away from the beautiful Altoona Penn State Campus. The Campus has a beautiful area to walk, sit and relax around the pond and enjoy their beautiful flowers and greenery.
There is a fantastic Italian restaurant that you could walk to, Mama Randozza's, a great atmosphere with pizza and full meals.

As a travel nurse I stayed at this property. I was so comfortable and felt at home. The properly mananger is the best manager I have had in 10 years of traveling. The space is comfortable and quiet. Near to restaurants and a nice supermarket. I also love the hot cinnamon roles she left for me also I was there for my birthday and I had a cake and candles waiting when I got home. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling or going to Altoona for a while. Go park and beautiful space. I give it 5 stars for what I needed.
Though only there a short time, this was a perfect space with everything needed. The hostess was so kind and loving and made you feel right at home, while respecting your privacy and space. The private entrance made sure no one was disturbed with the coming and going, and having a private space with a full bath made it easy to rest and relax. Very quiet neighborhood, yet still close to town. At an incredibly affordable price, you can't go wrong staying here!
