BEWARE I encountered several issues that renters should note. The owner frequently entered the unit without permission; small items were moved and curtains left open, even though I had closed them. The upstairs door has a lock only on the owners side, compromising my security. Despite the lease stating a five-day grace period for rent, I received multiple reminders on the 1st and was charged a $35 late fee for a one-day delaywith only $25 refunded upon complaint. Lease not followed by owner After giving 30 days notice, I moved out two days later, only to learn the property was re-rented during my notice with no prorated refund. My security deposit was returned only on the 30th day. A $150 cleaning fee , I was told to wash laundry and clean the pantry and fridge, which were not clearly outlined in the lease.
