The place is quite big for a one bedroom. Having a backyard even if shared was very nice! But there isn't a grill (as stated) or any outside furniture so you'll have to buy some. The place is kept a bit cold in the winter - set at 60, with no ability to adjust, so I recommend buying space heaters. And it's quite hot in the summer - so buy a lot of fans (I had 5!). Tyler did offer to place an ac for a monthly fee, I just didn't want to pay more. So I had lots of fans. Unfortunately it took over 3 weeks to receive my deposit back after moving out- longest I've ever waited....so prepare for that, as I know most travelers move from place to place and depend on those deposits. But it was all returned. The neighborhood is quiet and an easy commute to downtown.
