One of the most unique properties in Austin , love this little two story free-standing townhome cottage in a gated townhome complex. The cozy yet airy space is dominated by a large whimsical garden courtyard with a small front yard perfect for chilling or a small dog run. A very cozy naturalistic retreat in the heart of Austin adjacent to the central hike & bike trails that connect to Lady Bird Lake & the historic Montopolis Bridge. M does a great job ensuring his guests are comfortable and working from home with the Google fiber wifi was a breeze! I loved the antique furniture and whimsical touches featuring photos of old and new austin. The pool is great, just wished it was warmer so I could have used the grill area more often. The gym is fine for workouts but I honestly preferred the trail areas.

The listing photos and descriptions are accurate and if anything, undersell the house a bit. I loved it here! Excellent location for access to downtown, Lady Bird Lake (the bike paths are like their own commuter system), Austins trendy East Side and South Austin/SOCO. Easy commuting I found, you can be on 183 or I-35 in minutes. Very easy access to the airport as well. McKinney Falls park is very close and was amazing. The interior is nicely stocked and decorated, great kitchen and even a small garden. I could live here.
