This was such a nice stay!! The owner was very friendly and so sweet. This is a quiet area and I worked night shift, so it was very easy for me to fall asleep during the day due to no outside noise. The place was clean and had everything needed for an extended stay. I felt so comfortable and safe the entire time. I would totally recommend this property to any traveler who is working at Herrin hospital, heartland, or Carbondale. It's situated in between both Carbondale and Herrin, so travel time wasn't bad (15-20 mins). Amazing place!! Would definitely stay here again when it's available!!!
I stayed here as a travel nurse working in Herrin and I was so lucky to find this place! Beautiful, peaceful, and very nice landlords. It has everything you need and more! Everything is new, clean, and comfy! Its like living in the country but very close to everything! About 15 minutes to Herrin, 8 minutes from Carbondale and maybe 15 to Marion. One of the best things about this place is the deer! They are always around and beautiful to watch! Mrs. C and Mr. S were great! Also around and willing to help with anything! They keep everything looking so nice!! You will definitely enjoy this place! I did so much!

I am a retired VA Purchasing Agent that lives on the back side of 50 acres. We have an approximately 1,000 square foot apartment behind our house with it's own entry and it's very own back porch with gorgeous sunsets along with deer passing through in the mornings and evenings. We travel back and forth to our small home in FL. The ocean is our happy place. This apartment was just built a year ago for my mother with dementia and she was only able to stay in it for 6 months before having to place her in an assisted living.
