    My family moved to this valley in 1970 to grow fruit, cattle and hay. I worked in the local coal mine to make my way through college. After college I settled in Colorado Springs for 3 decades raising kids, starting businesses, coaching, and building. In 2010 I moved back to Paonia to give my kids a small-town experience and to work with my parents setting up marketing and distribution for their organic fruit operation here. Since then, I have been building out this beautiful 4 acre property to include 7 nightly rental cabins, glamping tents and deluxe apartments.
