    I never knew it, but I was living my best life in an incredible town and at the beach. To have the skill to rebuild a 1950s kit house and make it beautiful; to jump in my ‘84 CJ8 with soggy tires and charcoal grill, cooler, and surfboard in the back and drive on the beach, right of the ocean’s edge, further and further south. Sunset, private break, beach, tuna steak searing, any random evening.
