La Jolla Village Gem

I couldn't recommend renting a room in this home more strongly. Both Paula and her son are extremely kind and helpful both with everyday problems and with the area. Their home is lovely, always clean and feels welcoming. It's also in a great location that feels safe both day and night. Paula always went out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I particularly enjoyed my time on the front patio, which is very calming on a summers night with the lights and fountain on surrounded by plants.

I had a wonderful stay at P's place. The home is really well decorated. The kitchen is modern with all the best appliances. The entire home is kept immaculately clean. The room is perfect for your needs. The furniture is modern. The bed is very comfortable. The washroom is a good size and very clean. The cleaners come in every fifteen days for a thorough cleaning. The place is in a very posh place in LaJolla and the neighborhood is walking friending with parks nearby. This place is centrally located in LaJolla and is just a 15 minute drive to downtown. Additionally, P is wonderful, warm, friendly and a great host. This place felt like home away from home for me. I will definitely stay here again if the need arises. I highly recommend to everyone!

I stayed at this property in the fall of 2023 for a neurosurg rotation at UCSD. For reference, I also stayed at three places prior to my rotation in La Jolla and this was by far the best place for a short stay. I felt that I had the necessary (and high quality) amenities needed for my visit. Moreover, as a non-Californian, the landlord provided excellent materials for sightseeing to maximize my time. Overall, I would choose this location in a heartbeat if given the choice.

P and her son were the most hospitable and kindest people from the moment I arrived until I left 9 weeks later. The entire unit is beautiful, and I was provided with everything I needed and more! They never failed to check in with me and ask if there was anything that I needed. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and also near many groceries, restaurants, and small businesses. Professional cleaners come every other week and the unit is constantly clean and spotless. The amenities are more than I could have asked for, and my entire stay was easy and awesome. The home is only a short drive to popular areas such as North Park, Pacific Beach, and Downtown San Diego. Not to mention the two cute puppies who are the sweetest things in. the entire world. Anyone who is looking for an amazing spot to stay in San Diego, I could not recommend staying with P in her home any more. If I ever find myself back in San Diego, I can only hope this amazing home has availability so I can stay there again.

Beautiful home in a very nice area. The owner and her son were nothing but hospitable and kind. Owner has condo professionally cleaned every other week. They were fantastic roommates and made my stay in San Diego easy and memorable! Highly recommend for any traveling working professionals or students.

P is a grade A host and she goes above and beyond to make sure your stay there is as comfortable as can be. When you first walk in the condo, you will be amazed at how beautiful and pristine it is. The neighborhood is very quiet and accessible for both runners and casual strollers. The proximity to places like Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores, UCSD, and Torrey Pines makes this a great location for all your sightseeing and adventures. No spot can be truly great without a great host and that's what P is. She makes you feel welcome at her home and is always asking what she can do to improve your stay. For any home cooks like myself, the kitchen has all you need! I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in the SD area.
