House outside the Pitman Grove

Cute little house in a nice neighborhood. It was perfect for me while was in the area for work. The local downtown area in Pitman has a lot of little local places to eat and shops and the local people were very friendly. The landlord, Jack, was super nice and was a pleasure to deal with. Overall for the price this is a great place.

hello, my travel partner, and I stayed here while on a travel assignment. the place is cost effective for what we need. the neighborhood is quiet, and we never had any problems with neighbors. the house is located near many eateries and local stores. the landlord was absolutely great. he was always available and helpful.

This place was perfect during my stay. The location is the best part. Your 20-30 minutes from Philly and airport, 50 minutes from Atlantic City, and if your working at a local hospital your about 7 minutes drive to Inspira Mullica Hill and 22 minutes from Inspira Vineland. Walking distance from local restaurants in Pitman. I highly recommend Merrymans Pub. The actual house is clean with good running AC, working washer/dryer, and a kitchen with all the amenities needed. The locals are very friendly and safe so dont be afraid to get out and walk and say hello. This is a great value for the area so if you have a chance to book it do it fast because it wont be available long. Mr. J is really nice, easy going, and always available to you.

Property owner is a nice enough person to deal with but this house was not in habitable conditions when I arrived. Dust, dirt, renovation debris, thick cobwebs, partially consumed food and drink, a higher-than-normal number of personal effects, no smoke alarms actively installed, stained carpets, water damaged/old furnishings, unstable utility room floor and mold around the rubber freezer seals were the dealbreakers. I took my standard move-in pictures and video and locked it back up. I had gotten too comfortable on Furnished Finder with signing leases and sending deposit/first rent in advance of seeing the property and this was my first lesson. Owner gave back the first month's rent but kept $650 deposit. With any luck, the owner made use of that $650 to clean it up and bring it out of 2013 (there was a 2013 calendar in the master bedroom frozen at May). Jersey rents are ludicrous so this is not the worst deal but confirm in person that the conditions described have been remedied.
