If youre looking for a safe, affordable, & comfortable place to stay, this is it! I stayed with Cheryl and her daughter for 5 months, at a time in my life when I needed a safe space to rest and start living again. I wasnt expecting it, but I truly felt like I was home and part of the family. Her home is peaceful, warm and full of life and your space is your own. The backyard is spacious with a beautiful area to relax in or go for a swim, and if youre into moving your body, there is a great space to exercise or do yoga in. The neighborhood is calm, great to go for a walk, there are a few parks down the road, one of which hosts a farmers market on the weekend, and its just 5-10 min from great shopping centers in the area. Cheryl is genuine, compassionate, fun, fair, honest, and accepting woman and for me, that is what made my stay feel so much like home. Highly recommend! I stayed here as a physical therapy student on my last rotation and the owner was nothing but kind and gracious to me the whole time. Her daughter was also renting a room while I was there and was very sweet all the time as well. They had became like family to me over my 4 months renting there. The owner's daughter had a very fun and friendly dog named T***** who was there during my time as well. The house was always kept clean and tidy which was very nice as well! The location is fantastic here because you are right by lots of restaurants and grocery stores and right next to the highway (51 north/south). I really don't have any negative things to say about it. Rent is very affordable and competitive to other surrounding rentable locations. The pool is open during the summer months but is best early on as it gets too warm later summer.
