Safe and quiet room within a mile from Bay Area Hospital.

My stay at this property was very good. I had my own room with a queen sized bed, a refrigerator, microwave, and a toaster oven in my room. I had plenty of storage space for my cat and all of my stuff that I had brought with me. I was within walking distance to BAH. Ray the property owner is wonderfully helpful. He even picked me up from the airport in Eugene. He was also open to suggestions. The only thing I didn't personally like was that I had to share a bathroom. I know he is working on adding a bathroom.

Unfortunately, this review is a necessary cautionary tale for others who may consider staying at this property. What started as an extremely pleasant interaction with R, the host, has turned into an absolute nightmare of a situation. My husband and I were looking to spend a lovely summer in the PNW and came across Rs home. It looked to be a good match, and after speaking to R on the phone and receiving pictures of the space, we felt confident we would enjoy our time at Rs in Coos Bay. R even offered to transform one of of the bedrooms into an office for my husband. However, the conversations prior to the stay were the most pleasant part of the entire experience. As I stepped inside, my hopes for a pleasant stay were quickly dashed. The kitchen, supposedly a highlight of the rental, turned out to be a nightmare. Imagine my shock and disgust when I discovered mouse droppings in the pantry! This blatant disregard for cleanliness is not only unsanitary but also a clear violation of basic hospitality standards. It's utterly unacceptable to subject guests to such health hazards. Moreover, the property failed to live up to the promises made in the listing. The photos online showcased a pristine and well-maintained space, but in reality, it was far from that. The overall condition of the rental left much to be desired, with signs of neglect and poor upkeep evident throughout. Although we were told there was a separate yard available for my dogs, the backyard was completely overgrown and covered with moving boxes 5-6 high, with just a walking path, leaving nowhere for my dogs to go outside! Despite raising concerns about the conditions and the discrepancies from the listing, Rs response lacked any genuine concern for our experience. He has declined my request for my cleaning deposit back, which has clearly not been put to use. As a paying customer, I expected a level of quality and cleanliness that would match the price I would be paying for the rental. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling completely ripped off and deeply disappointed. We were forced to turn around, after a 30 hour drive, wasting time and money. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of this property unless they enjoy subpar conditions, false advertising, and unsanitary environments. In summary, the unkempt premises, presence of mouse droppings in the pantry, and the failure to meet the promises made in the listing make this short-term rental an absolute nightmare. Spare yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking alternative accommodations that actually deliver on their promises and prioritize the well-being of their guests.

R was a great host who went out of his way to make me feel welcomed - he even provides tenants a new robe on arrival. He was very accommodating.-no The house is clean and quiet. It is mostly rented rooms, no kids, no fuss, no muss. There is a full kitchen with new appliances and every kitchen tool you can think off. The laundry is clean and the machines are nice. The bathroom is dated, but does the job. There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV in the rental room. There is plenty of parking in the five-car driveway as well as on the street. I will definitely stay again if Im back in Coos Bay.

Filthy!!!, under construction, loud!!!!, owners only concern is the rent money. Parking is horrible!!!! Was threatened with 30 day notice, when I wanted out of the situation. Constantly hear the elderly couple having sex!!! Most Disgusting situation I have ever experienced!!!!!
