Hello! I'm a self-employed interior designer. I live with my boyfriend in a four-bedroom home close to the beach in Hermosa. I'm renting one or two bedrooms and private bath on the opposite side of the house from my two bedrooms (one is my office). I have cats, but they don't go past the door on the other bedroom hallway. The house is four blocks to the beach, just west of the greenbelt, one mile from downtown Manhattan Beach and 1/2 mile from downtown Hermosa (both have a ton of restaurants/bars/shopping/etc.).
