I can't say enough good things about the stay I had here. Fred and Jozef are amazing, wonderful people. They're super hospitable , respectful, accommodating and easy to deal with. I had the best experience while in Hilo and staying here was a major part of that. The property is beautiful, well kept and clean. Everyone is respectful of your privacy and other tenants are quiet and friendly. Beautiful, safe neighborhood Walking distance to Hilo Benioff Medical Center. This place felt like home to me. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again with my next assignment in Hilo.

Great location, nice and quiet. It got very cool at night as this place is elevated above sea level, was able to sleep well because of that. It gets lots of rain in this area. The kitchen area worked well, nice private bathroom, decent shared washer/dryer. No traffic going anywhere within the area, great if you work at the hospital or corrections. Owners are very nice and thoughtful people and attend to your needs as best as possible. The only negatives for me are the internet connection cut in and out often during my stay, a good number of mosquitos but these negatives are manageable, and the owners help trouble shoot problems within their control. No place is perfect so I would recommend this place. I would stay here again.

Loved staying in this beautiful clean space. It's safe, owners are friendly and quickly respond to any questions, walking distance to waterfalls, your own designated parking spot, beautiful high ceilings with great lighting and lots of windows for natural light. The garden is beautiful. I could go on and on. It's really an amazing spot!

The landlords were super accommodating and willing to help me with anything I needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The drive to Hilo Medical Center is only 3 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The top two things about this property are its proximity to HMC and the owners Jozef and Fred. The owners were receptive to making adjustments and buying things that I needed. They also had the kitchen fully stocked with brand new kitchenware, including a new blender that I didn't even use. They also provided bug spray which was very helpful, and have a bunch of cute dogs that come say hi to you occasionally. They typically rent to HMC healthcare workers, thus all your neighbors are respectful, quiet, and friendly. The kitchen is detached from the main living area which I had never experienced, but was totally fine. This is a great stay and would recommend to others!

This studio is a great find. The high ceilings and large windows give it a nice open feeling. Those windows and the ceiling fan provide nice air circulation to keep the unit cool. The property is quiet so you won't have any issues with noise in the evening. A few things that may be missing in the photos is the 2 person kitchen table and a portable wardrobe that zips closed. Parking in the car port is a nice plus. The unit is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It's only a 3 minute drive to the hospital. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They've been happy to help me with anything I've needed; such as when my microwave stopped working and they gave me a new one from their kitchen. Over the years I have lived in 3 other properties during my time in Hilo as a travel healthcare worker. This one ranks at the top. I definitely recommend this unit to others who are looking for a comfortable and clean property.
