    I moved up here 12 years ago to be close to good skiing. I bought a place with a grandmothers cottage I fixed up to rent as Airbnb. It did so well I moved to lower level of the big house and began renting it. My son got married and I bought a run down house in Vanderbilt with 3 units intending to give him a place to stay for taking care of the other 2 units. Suddenly early January I developed crippling neuropathy and landed in the hospital unable to stand, hold a phone or feed myself and I was in terrible pain they would give me nothing but advil.
