Quiet, sunny Alton charmer

This house was exactly as advertised. It was cute and charming. The beds are really comfortable, and it was nice having a covered sun porch to leave shoes and boots in. Appreciated the carport during the snow and rain. Felt safe in the neighborhood and has plenty of shopping within a few minutes. The house stays on the chilly side, but there are plenty of extra blankets if needed and an electric fireplace. The drive over into Missouri is a really pretty one crossing over the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. The town in quaint with alot of mom n pop restaurants. You absolutely MUST have Dukes Bakery donuts! We had way too many...lol. L was a great host with quick and friendly communication. She has several properties, so if we come back, we'll definitely stay with her again!

Me and my wife recently stayed here and our experience was fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town, we would love to stay here again if we are ever back in town. Great landlady, that was quick to respond and so helpful!
