  • There is an ample sized parking area in front of studio apartment. This apartment is located in a rural setting and is accessed by a long gravel driveway (approximately .25 miles long) so an appropriate vehicle is needed especially during the winter/snow months.

Property Description

Nahahum Canyon is located on the Northside of Highway 2 and is about one mile outside of the City Limits of Cashmere, WA (in between Wenatchee and Leavenworth; about 15-20 minute drive to to either town). The studio apartment is located on an approximately 47 acre parcel of land owned by Eric and Colleen Malmassari; Colleen's family homesteaded in the area in the late 1880's. This area is considered rural and enjoys 4 seasons of weather throughout the year since it is located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range; recreation and wildlife is literally right outside of your door. The 330+ square foot studio apartment is attached to the side of a 3-bay shop that is utilized by the owners (non-business). Additionally, the apartment & shop is detached from the residence and more than a football field distance from each other. The apartment was constructed in 2019 and offers vaulted ceilings and ample natural light, along with new appliances & furnishings. With being rural, the space does access both well & filtration system for water and septic system for wastewater.

NOTE: The washer/dryer available for apartment is inside shop, and access will need to be coordinated through owners. Also, there is a clothes iron and small sized ironing board within the apartment.

This studio apartment can sleep up-to four tenants. In addition to the queen sized bed on the main level, there is also a queen sized mattress in a loft that is accessed via a ladder (see pics). Further, the couch trundles into a full-sized bed. Depending on sleeping needs, there are three sleeping surfaces within the studio apartment.
