Wine Country Modern Farmhouse

Suzanne & Paul are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. If the roles are reversed and one day I'm in a position to rent out a spot, I hope I can be as great of a host as those two were to me. They were so kind and understanding of my schedule every step of the way and any time there was any issue, they had it fixed the same or the next day. The space was a peaceful and cozy retreat for me this past winter. The woods behind their property are beautiful and shield the cabin from the winds. Opening the windows creates a wonderful breeze and you can listen to the rainfall at night. This cabin is the perfect sanctuary at the edge of the countryside--10 minutes from downtown McMinnville or Carlton and 5 minutes from the beautiful grounds of the Trappist Abbey. Be sure to take advantage of the hikes at the Abbey and great restaurants in town. All in all, I was very happy with my stay :)

If you're looking for a home away from home, you'll love staying here! They have a beautiful property with incredible views of wine country. Paul and Suzanne are very welcoming, and you can have as much or as little interaction with them as you choose. They allowed me to have the 2nd bathroom with tub/shower combo. I was even given some space in the cabinets and refrigerator. Very family oriented people who will make you feel comfortable and cared for. You may even get to video chat with their grandchildren!
