1 Bedroom/Studio Apartment Near Eden Park VP24

This was a great apartment. S was very friendly and helpful through out my stay here. I recommend it for anyone looking for apartment close to UC hospital.

I enjoyed my stay here and always been. The management has been very helpful and available for my calls and meet my meds. I highly recommend it for anyone. You will have a good time here then.

I stayed in this very sunny apartment in 3rd floor for 10 days. It was a very warm and cozy stay. The apartment has a lot of big windows, so ample sunlight. There's a gas station opposite the apartment building, and a McDonald's across the street, both less 2 minutes walk. Hence, any kind of emergency food was available at odd time. There is also a Dollar General Store and a Grocery store, 6 minutes walk. There are multiple downtown cafes, weekend hangout places, pastry shops in walking distance of 10 minutes. Because I didn't have a car, this apartment was very good for me. It has 2 bus stops nearby (across the street) that one can take to go anywhere near the main city, Kroger etc. Overall, I was very happy in the apartment with good night's sleep, beautiful sunny mornings while waking up with nature ( thanks to the ample sunlight in morning). The apartment is spacious, clean and the management responses were quick.

The landlord or property manager is friendly and usually answers or calls back quickly. As far as the apartment, I needed a place super bad and was in a bad situation and I feel I was price gouged due to my "desperateness" which left a bad taste in my mouth. There's no couch, just a bed and a LITTLE table with two TINY stools. Nice pans and cooking utensils, but not much counter space which is to be expected. The whole building smells like cigarettes and is overall just in rough shape. There's no microwave or freezer which makes grocery shopping difficult. The biggest complaint of mine is the internet... because there is NONE. It took me around 3 weeks to get internet and when I did get internet, I had an internet speed of .05 mb/s. This was the ONLY internet you can get and I paid a total price of $360 for 3 months of nonexistent internet. The landlord paid what the original internet quote was ($160) so I paid $200 for something that was supposed to be provided upon me moving in. 2/5
