W Salem - 2 bedroom, 2 bath, office with Garage

I had the pleasure of staying here for the last 6 months while working as a travel nurse at Salem Hospital. It's an easy 15 minute drive from work. Lots of food/grocery/shopping options within 10 minutes of the house. There is also a food truck park half a mile away. The house has a large driveway and a 2 car garage, which is a huge plus during the rainy, and cold months. The neighborhood is quiet with a friendly and active community. It's a great area to go for walks or for a run. The house and the grounds are very well maintained. It was wonderful coming home to a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. The living room is bright and spacious--perfect for hanging out on days off. The kitchen is large and well appointed. There is a gazebo with a grill in the backyard as well. The owner Kara, is very responsive to any questions and requests, and has truly gone above and beyond to ensure the comfort of her tenants. If you're like me and enjoy space, peace, and quiet, you'd love this house as I did.

Lived here 8 months and only reason I left because I needed to go home for awhile. Such a beautiful, peaceful, quiet and safe house to stay. House very well maintained and cared for. Quiet neighborhood with very friendly people. Barley no traffic. House is very cozy, roomy and clean. Its perfect because no more than 2 tenants are in the house at a time. Mostly travel nurses. I was able to cook, clean and walk around comfortably. Felt like home away from home. Backyard has a gazebo, BBQ grill, outdoor furniture as well as fire pits. It was my favorite part of the house! It was always very relaxing to just sit outside. Kara is amazing! She immediately took care of any concerns and issues. She also offered resources in the case of an emergency or if I needed transportation around town. As a travel nurse, I've stayed at other places in Salem. This was my absolutely favorite!!

Highly recommended this property! The house is nice and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. K, the landlord, was absolutely wonderful. Anytime we needed anything she was quick to respond. The house was super clean and well put together. It felt like my home away from home.
