S's place is absolutely great. It looks exactly like the pictures. This property is well appointed, well maintained and in a great location. Food and drinks check. Historic charm throughout the neighborhood, check. Close enough for a long walk or a quick uber ride to the quarter, check. Great neighbors, check! - We loved this place and found it quite comfortable. We didn't need much but when we did, both S and her property manager J were on top of it. - Additionally, both checked in throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. When bad weather approached, they checked in again, making sure we were safe, and all was well. There is a train track nearby. This didn't bother us at all but there were times when train engineers would blow their horns several times. Most of the time we found it charming. Every once in a while, we found it slightly excessive. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the real feel of NOLA - try this place. It's worth it.

Perfect for both rest and work, as pretty as the pictures, and comes with friendly helpful neighbors. The line for the snowball place around the corner (Chance in He**, check them on Insta) was always long and for good reason: they are literally the best in town. Two blocks from multiple bike rental stands, two blocks from a crosstown bus, and Ubers never took more than 5 minutes to arrive. Quick acess to French Quarter and just a few more minutes to the Garden District / Audubon. Adorable neighborhood library and community gym/ rec center with free dance and fitness classes two blocks away. Nearby Crescent Park with a lovely river view was perfect for watching 4th of July fireworks. Plenty of food delivery options. Go to the party, order the party in, or stay home and nest peacefully. Host answered messages and took care of maintenance issues quickly. Wifi was fine for working from home. I look forward to coming back!
