Cozy Bedrooms in Northport

I've been here for about 6 months and I like the house, the yard is a nice space where you can go relax. My room is spacious with plenty of dresser space to place your items. I love the access to a full kitchen unlike staying in hotels.

Quaint, clean, comfortable home in safe, low crime area. Close to DCH where a few of us travel nurses worked that rented from and were pleased with this landlord. The home is older but well maintained, kept clean, no mice, no rats, no bugs. Sure there are wasps, bees and butterflies outside her well maintained flower garden but not once seen nested inside the home. Functional central heat and air during my stay. One thing to note is that sub 20 degree" temperatures are non existent in the area. The landlord's communication, accommodation and tenet respect were 5/5 my entire time with her.

I have been staying here for the last several months and this has been one of the best places I have stayed. The owner texts to see if there is anything she can do for you. I am still here. Its clean and she provides everything from washer and dryer to dishes, pots and pans , utensils, microwave and stove to cook on. Ive been a travel nurse for over 3 years and by far one of the best places I have stayed. Im here until December and if I ever come back on another travel assistant will definitely stay here if its available!!

Ive never written a bad review in my life, but have to say my stay here was absolutely terrible. If zero stars was an option Id give zero. There was a hive of wasps in my room and a mice and rat issue in the house. The house is old and not kept clean. There were bugs everywhere. The worst part was the heat stopped working during the coldest time of the year, causing me to get sick and miss work. I addressed it with the landlord and the heat was not fixed for a few days. The house was 50 degrees when it was sub 20 degrees outside. She told me I had to sleep with layers and multiple blankets. She provided an old dusty space heater and told me not to use it too much as it would increase the utility bill. I was very close to packing my things and living in a hotel but figured Id stick out the rest of my lease. She has gone into my room multiple times when I wasnt in the house. I respectfully asked for the security deposit back 60 days after move out and completely understood if she wasnt going to give it back since we had our issues. I respectfully at least asked for an itemized list and told her she could keep the deposit. She never responded to this day. If youre looking to stay temporarily in the area, its worth it to pay more money to stay anywhere but here. Ive lived all around the country and have countless landlords and never had an issue. Shes fundamentally dishonest. Ive never wanted to leave a place so bad and Im happy I did.

Very comfortable. Ms. D is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you have a confortable stay. The house and apartment have been well maintained.
