What a great place to stay in Fruita! I was house hunting and knew it might take a while and did not want to stay in a hotel. This darling little Victorian cottage was perfect. 2 bedrooms, nice living room and front porch. Good sized dining room opens into fully equipped kitchen. Everything is there to cook, I even roasted a chicken. Nice decorating including some family antiques of the owners. So nice to have full sized washer and dryer too. Its just a quick 5 block walk to downtown restaurants, coffee shops, brew pubs, bike shops, grocery and a Walgreens. 10 minute drive to Loma Mt biking, 15 minutes to famous 18 Rd North Fruita Desert trails. Owners are wonderful hosts. I will stay here again!
