This has been one of the nicest places that I've stayed since I've started traveling! It's very nice and quiet. Tucked into the woods. You are surrounded by nature! Falltime was magnificent here! The owner's, D and M are two of the nicest people! They are wonderful host and bend over backwards for anything that you need! The property is well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked. One of the best I've seen! The shower is amazing! Great water pressure! The couch is very comfortable! They recently added the washer and dryer, which was a major plus! It cut down on the closet space but you have a small closet in the living room and a great set of chest of drawers in the bedroom. If your a pet lover, there is also a nice cat that they call "Dugan," that will meet and great you on occasion. Overall, wonderful place!

Dugan Hollow has a history that dates back to 1990 with the reconstruction of an historic 1830s cabin by a Madison local. In 2013, Dugan Hollow was expanded to include the suites, and renamed Dugan Hollow Log Cabin & Suites. For the past seven years, Don and I have joyously travelled to stay in The Cabin twice a year as a retreat from our hectic lives of raising 5 children and working full-time.
