My 6 weeks living at the Clyde Mountain Retreat can be summed up in one word: PEACEFUL. This country mountainside home is surrounded by nature and wildlife (I had a family of 3 groundhogs that I saw almost daily, not to mention the abundance of melodious birds sweetly singing all around). I didn't realize what a respite this little place would be. I feel lucky to have found it. The owner is kind, helpful, and responsive as well. The only thing I would suggest a traveler to bring is plastic drawers of some kind, as there is (currently) no dresser or chest of drawers. I will miss this place!
