Painted Church Road

I so enjoyed my stay in this beautiful studio apartment in Captain Cook. The house is at such an elevation that it was never too hot and comfortably cozy at night. There is a standing, oscillating fan in the apartment which helps during the day. If you are new to Kona, just be aware that the coqui frogs are very loud out here at night but personally, I find it soothing :) the west facing walls are mostly all screens but it makes for a beautiful ocean sunset view right from your home! The kitchen is stocked with all new appliances in excellent condition and found the supplies available perfect for cooking for one. I'm a Costco grocery nut so the smaller refrigerator was tricky at times but definitely doable. The only reason I am moving out is because my home health clients are more concentrated further north. But as a free diver, being so close to Two Step and Manini beaches was absolutely wonderful. Kim's son Greg lives on the property and was very responsive and helpful with any issue
