Cozy room with view

There were pros and cons for sure. (More cons than pros unfortunately) Pros: the landlords were nice, I had my own bathroom, my own parking space right outside of my own entrance, and the view of the Olympics was nice. They were flexible with me moving in a few days before I originally planned. They also let me store the middle seats of my van in the general basement space. Cons: -The room is a sunroom that was converted into a bedroom. This is fine except for the fact that there was no AC and the sun caused the room to absolutely boil. Because of the heat, I would keep my door cracked and open. As a result, privacy was an issue for sure. -When I got there, it was not clean. It was tidy sure, but not clean. The shower was dirty, there were cobwebs all over the room, the room and the bathroom smelled like stale air, and when I wiped the table with a clorox wipe when I first got there, the wipe showed that it was not cleaned in a while. -There was a brown smear of something underneath the toilet roll in the bathroom. I try to not think about what it was and how I had to clean it. -There was a normal sized vacuum to use but it reeked of sweaty gym socks. So they let me use their very tiny handheld vacuum to vacuum the entirety of the room and bathroom which was very inconvenient. -There was no closet or area to hang any clothes. -The washer needed to be cleaned or sanitized because my clean clothes smelled off. -They did not communicate that the house could not receive mail until it was too late, so some very very important pieces of mail were lost because of it. It was not worth the $900/month rent, would not recommend even though there were some positives to my stay.

This host couple ensures that guests are welcomed and comfortable. They are available for questions and help, if needed, but are non-intrusive. While part of the larger home, the room is private and opens to a stunning view of the Olympic mountains. The room has a coffee maker, a microwave, and appropriate dishes and utensils. You will have convenient access to a refrigerator, a private bathroom and sink for washing dishes. It is a quiet area so that when sleeping in the restful double bed you will sleep soundly, ready for the next day for exploring the PNW.
