Quiet Country Home

This place is an absolute gem! The home itself is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked from top to bottom. It is set apart from the main home so it felt very private, including our own outdoor area which we enjoyed having in the summer. The property is so peaceful and picturesque - we loved being surrounded by the trees and rolling hills, and seeing the horses and other wildlife from our windows or on our walks down the road. It is a quick ~10min drive to Dallas which is a sweet little town with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I worked in Corvallis at Good Samaritan and my commute was an easy ~35min cruise down a lovely country road; if you work in/need access to a bigger city, Salem is also easy to get to from Dallas. C&D were wonderful and kind hosts who made us feel so welcome. I could go on and on about everything we loved here, suffice to say this will absolutely go down as one of our favorite rentals ever!

My husband and I stayed here through my 3 month travel PT assignment. This house was perfect for us and all of our camping gear haha! C and D are excellent hosts and have been very accommodating. The house is nicely equipped with everything you should need. The property is quiet with great views on a clear day but still within a short drive from Dallas. 5 stars all around and would definitely stay here again.
