I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found the amazing Kathleen and her welcoming, light-filled corner of Rochester. As a health professions student, Kathleen's home is in a PERFECT location; 15 mins from anything and everything you might need! I fondly refer to Kathleen as my "host mother." It is scary moving somewhere new as a woman in her 20s, but Kathleen took that fear away. I needed more space for my groceries in the fridge? I suddenly had another shelf. I had family visiting for the weekend? Kathleen welcomed them with open arms. I mentioned I enjoy singing? I was invited to karaoke night. Shared areas are kept tidy and clean. The room I stayed in was spacious -- I've felt so spoiled! Cat Stella is friendly and the dogs live downstairs, but they were both so easy to love on. It's hard to know what -- or who -- to trust when you're in search of a place to stay in a new area. I would choose Kathleen and her home 1000x over. My experience would not have been the same without her.

This is a great set up for a Traveler Nurse. Kathleen hosts a beautiful space in an ideal location. You can stroll to the banks of the Iroquois Bay, but still be minutes from downtown Rochester by freeway. I had the good fortune to be here during spring and see her garden evolve, as well as enjoy the pool! Her dogs are super well behaved, quiet and really adorable! The dogs do not spend any time in the main living area, which is comfortable and welcoming. My master suite was private, and quiet (even with nightshift) and a happy retreat after my shift with a comfy bed and streaming TV. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to use. Kathleen will give you hints and tips on local hiking, dining, and she took me to some great spots, as well as took me out on the bay for kayaking! She will also give you your space. I loved my time here and highly recommend.

Cousin Ks is the perfect place to relax, unwind and reset. K is around if you want to socialize, but also invisible if you want down time. Starting the day with a cup of coffee in the beautiful gardens is so peaceful. Walking through the neighborhood to hiking trails is one of my favorite activities. The pool and surrounding gardens is fantastic when the weather warms. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed at my friend K's place for several months. Was a nice experience. Spacious house and backyard so never felt crowded. Pool was nice to cool off in and yard had nice spaces to relax and read books. The dogs and cats are sweet. Both dogs are docile. Barked at my car pulling up at first but subsided when they knew it was just me. Loved the black cat Stella who would sleep with me if I left my door open. Loved how close to shopping it was and dining by the water was like 2 miles away. Hiking trails and the bay in walking distance. Really a great place to live.

This place is much larger than it looks in photos. And the garden in the back yard is like an oasis. Very peaceful and relaxing, complete with a little fountain-style water feature. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long shift, or to start your day with coffee. The rooms are spacious, and you really lack for nothing while you're here.
