Comfy Open Basement Living

S is welcoming and outgoing. She's often available to chat and included us in conversation with her friends and family, who drop by semi-regularly. However, the basement was fully private. The dogs are cute, also friendly, and don't bark inside nor go into the basement. The house is clean, full of houseplants, and the furnished portions of the basement were spotless (until I unpacked ;) ). Comfortable bed. Kitchenette was helpful, with several appliances, and S plans to add another heating element. S will usually share her upstairs kitchen as needed (as well as washer/dryer). Bathroom had everything - towels, lotion, etc. S's carefully maintained backyard was a major perk. We spent lots of time sitting at her kitchen table or in the garden enjoying her flowers and the pond beyond. The neighborhood is very calm, and was a convenient location for us (for work in West County suburbs). Remember that it is a basement, so you will hear (doggie) footsteps.
