What this property offers
I call our property Little Big Bear because of the gorgeous redwoods and cedars right outside our doors. This unit was remodeled in 2023 with new kitchen as well as flooring throughout.
This apartment is on the second floor (above my garage) and approximately 50 feet from my back door. If you are looking for solitude this could be a good fit. If you're more of the fun, party group this would not work for either of us!
Our neighborhood is called Sleepy Hollow. It is a great family neighborhood who look out for each other. We are part of the Bixby Knolls community so lots going on in our area. It is 15 minute drive to the beach. I have lived here for 47 years so that says alot!!!
This is a two bedroom apartment, but the 2nd room is set up for an office or t.v. room. There is a futon couch and desk in the 2nd room.
Sleepy Hollow is a neighborhood of 50 homes built between the 1930's and 2018. It is a slice of rural living within our 52 square mile city of Long Beach. We are within walking distance of Bixby Knolls dining and shopping areas. Also a five minute walk to public transportation to get you where you want to go. If you're looking for a tranquil home environment this is it!

I have lived in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of Bixby Knolls for 45 years. There is only one way in and out of our Sleepy Hollo neighborhood so traffic is non-existent! We love that we are only 15 minutes from downtown Long Beach, Belmont Shore or Seal Beach and the Pacific Ocean sunsets when we feel the need to be immersed in activities. I served on our Long Beach city council for 8 years and know most of the highlights across our city.
