Green Acres R-Pod

My Dad stayed at this beautiful cottage for about a month before making a permanent move out of state. I can't even share enough how perfect it was for him! Having Caitlin & Lucy on property was so wonderful and put my mind at ease. I didn't worry about my Dad at all while he was staying there. The ladies were so kind and caring towards him and went above and beyond in so many ways. He enjoyed the property immensely. It's an absolute slice of Pacific Northwest paradise and conveniently located to both Ferndale and Blaine for Dad's stay. Thank you Caitlin & Lucy for your amazing hospitality!

I had the pleasure of spending a significant portion of July 2024 in this fantastic guesthouse while attending to business and fitting in some recreation, as well. This place is fabulous one of the nicest, if not the nicest, guesthouses I have ever stayed in! The owners have recently completed renovation of this comfy space with great taste and style. (I was surprised to learn that one the owners herself was responsible for the design and furnishings.) I slept comfortably with no noise disturbance and woke up to the sun streaming in from the French doors and birds singing such a peaceful retreat. The owners were friendly and highly responsive to my questions and needs. It's a perfect space for one or two people for an extended stay!

I have stayed in this unit a couple times while working at the various refineries in the area. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The space has everything you need to have a home away from home. The hosts are accommodating, generous, understanding, and reasonable. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect for my needs and its a really quiet area which is nice to help me relax from a hard days work. I highly recommend this place and will check availability the next time Im working in Ferndale!

Weve been staying at this home for 2 and a half months and its been wonderful! The house is cozy and clean. The location is close to the freeway so its easy to get around. The owners have been very responsive anytime we needed anything. We would absolutely stay here again!

The place looks good in photos, and the interior design is certainly stylish but several practical issues that impacted my stay. Overall, I could sum it up by saying that, it is clearly a nice place for a weekend trip but for month long stays for a traveling professional, I wouldn't recommend. The Wi-Fi speed was much slower than communicated, mostly due to the router's placement. It only worked well when sitting near the door, which was inconvenient for working or streaming in other parts of the unit. In parts of the unit you wouldn't get any signal or it would cut in and out constantly. Storage was also a problemthere was just one small wardrobe, leaving me with almost no space to store my belongings comfortably. Additionally, the location wasnt ideal; its quite far from most amenities and activities which isnt ideal. While the place is aesthetically pleasing, comfort seemed to be sacrificed for the sake of design. The sofa and chairs, although stylish, were uncomfortable for daily use. Overall, its a nice place to look at, but it falls short on practical aspects that make a stay comfortable.
